This new post reminded me of an old post of mine as I lay falling asleep last night.  I love when that happens....when time and space is connected by a..... usually unseen and unnoticed..... thread.

Dissecting a fertilized egg.  Even though we eat chickens....the girls held that sweet little baby chick in high esteem.  Lots of "oohhs" and "awwwws"  when they saw it's lifeless little body.
